Aircel (Kolkata) launches Pay Per Second Plan

No, TATA DoCoMo is not launched in Kolkata yet but Aircel has come with Pay Per Second Calling Plan which is better than what TATA DoCoMo is providing. Now with Aircel (Kolkata) you can make calls to any network across India without any extra cost at just 1 paisa/second.

According to Aircel “Pay Per Second Plan”

A new customer will be charged for 1 paisa for one second on LOCAL and STD call to any network across India.The STD calling at 1 paisa will be applicable up to first 30,000 second after that 2 paisa per second will be charged in that month to any network across India. (TATA DoCoMo provides STD at 1 paisa for first 27,000 seconds)

Aircel mobile’s existing customer can activate the plan by calling 121 (Toll Free) from their mobile without any extra cost.

Starter Kit (includes Lifetime Validity SIM) – costs Rs 49/- and comes with Rs zero talktime .
Customers can have inbiult the “Pay per Second” plan, i.e., 1 paisa per sec plan by at free of cost.

All Local Calls – 1p/second (any network 24×7)
All STD calls – 1p/second (for first 30,000 second{500 Minutes} beyond that 2 paisa per second in that month.)

Local – 60 paise per SMS
National – Rs 1.20 per SMS
International – Rs 5 per SMS

We Say : Introduction of Pay Per Second Plan will definitely force TATA DoCoMo to change its launch strategy for Kolkata Circle, to become a hit among Kolkata people it will have to offer more Goodies than what Aircel is providing.
