We had recently heard rumours of Samsung launching a tablet powered by Intel processor, while we thought it was unlikely back then, an announcement from Samsung has brought the theory up again.
As per the event scheduled for June 20 by Samsung, new devices would be introduced in the Android based Galaxy range along with the ATIV range which runs on the Windows Phone. Reports claim that the company would be launching a series of tablets with screen sizes 7, 8, 10 and maybe even 11.6 inch.
The largest tablet is said to be have an Intel inside and while it is unknown whether the device would be a merger of the Galaxy line with the ATIV line, it would make more sense to see two tablets, one running Android and the other running Windows 8 OS.
