The Mix Radio service on Nokia Music is a free music streaming service that allows consumers to discover new music and also create and listen to their own personalised mixes using their Nokia Asha smartphones for free. While the service was initially launched for the Nokia Lumia devices it is now extended to the Asha smartphone range.

Using the Mix Radio on Nokia Music, Asha smartphone users can stream free music from a selection of more than 150 exclusive playlists, curated by expert musicologists and global artists. The Nokia Music store already has mixes created from more than 15 million tracks. However the service is available on Nokia Asha 305, 308, 310 and 311 and comes pre-loaded on the new devices. While the service is free to use, data charges may apply.

Speaking about the service, Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia, said “Music holds a special place in the lives of Indians who like to listen to their choice of music while on the go.
