While most of the handset makers seem to be focusing on the high-end smartphone market, Xolo has launched another entry-level Android smartphone – the Xolo A550s IPS.
Xolo has officially announced the Xolo A550s IPS, which is an entry-level budget Android handset. The phone has a leather finish on the rear panel which gives a touch of premium look. The device sports a 4 inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1 GHz dual core MediaTek processor along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Xolo A550s IPS has a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android v4.2.2 but is assured to get an upgrade to the latest Android KitKat version. The phone has a 1400 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 5799 and is available in White colour.
