Considering the unprecedented success of the Galaxy Note range of smartphones from Samsung, LG seems to be preparing to compete head-on with the global giant.

LG-G3-Stylus-promo-leak

In a promo video of the recently released LG G3 Beat, a new device named LG G3 Stylus was spotted and this comes stylus. The handset, which looks more like the LG G Pro Lite but with a stylus, is expected to compete with the Galaxy Note series. While it is supposed to be a variant of the LG G3, it is expected to have toned down specs.

According to sources, the LG G3 Stylus has model number D693 and is expected to flaunt a massive 5.9 inch display but with surprisingly low resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. As such it seems to be a minor upgrade to the G Pro Lite. The video points to August 19, which could probably be the launch date of the handset. Could this be Galaxy Note killer?
