Samsung has just announced a brand new addition to the Galaxy Grand family, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max. We came across the Galaxy Grand Max (SM-G720N0) last month and now the South Korean giant has launched the device in its home land.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is a mid range smartphone and it looks the part. The device has a pretty thin waist line, measuring in at 7.9 mm. The device has a patterned back like most Samsung smartphones these days.
Coming to the back, the Grand Max features a 5.25-inch HD (1280x720p) LCD display and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1.5 gigs of RAM. There’s 16 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 64 GB.
On the camera front, the Grand Max features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP wide-angle front-facing camera. The connectivity is well covered with 4G LTE connectivity and Dual SIM support. A 2500 mAh battery provides the juice. Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show along with Samsung’s TouchWiz.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is available in South Korea starting now and it’s available at the three major carriers of the country. It’s priced at 319,000 South Korean Won (~ $ 290 / Rs. 18302). Samsung is yet to reveal if the device will be released in the global market.
