While Samsung launched its flagship smartphones yesterday, the company surprisingly did not showcase any of its new wearables. However, the company has teased an upcoming watch.
Samsung has teased the next generation Gear S2 smartwatch. The teasers reveal the much expected circular display with a full metal casing. Like the previous generation, the smartwatch would run on the Tizen-based wearable OS. The company has announced that the smartwatch would be officially unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2015 in Berlin on September 3.
Sources suggest that the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch would flaunt built-in SIM support for 3G and voice calling. Also expected S Voice, Phone dialer, Message, Nike+, S Health and more. Interestingly, the company revealed that there would be a Heart Rate sensor on the smartwatch.
