Given the success of the Marathon series in India, Gionee has now launched the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in the country.
Gionee has announced the launch of the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus, which is the company’s latest addition to the Marathon series flaunting a unibody metal build and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. The device has a 6 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has an 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 5020 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 26999 and is available in Champagne Gold and Polar Gold colour options.
