As promised at the MIUI 8 launch event, Xiaomi has started rolling out the global MIUI 8 beta ROM for the Mi Fans globally.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the global MIUI 8 beta ROM v6.7.5. the ROM is currently available for the Redmi Note (3G and 4G), Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 2 and Mi Max (32GB) handsets. The ROMs for the Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon 650) are expected to be released in the next few days.
The global MIUI 8 beta ROMs can be downloaded from the MiUI forum. Users then have to install the downloaded ROM manually. The new MIUI 8 version brings in quite a few interesting features such as redesigned colours, new Gallery app, Mi cloud photos, scrolling screenshot, Dual apps to use two accounts in all your apps and dual space to manage work and personal profiles. The stable ROM is expected to start rolling out on August 16.
