Back in May last year, Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi opened its first Mi Home store in India in the city of Bengaluru. The Mi Home store was opened with the intention of offering customers a hands-on experience of the Xiaomi products launched in India. Now today, Xiaomi has announced its first Mi Home Experience Store in the country in the city of Chennai.

Well, while the Mi Home Stores opened in major cities of India offer a hands-on experience of the products that Xiaomi has launched in the country, the Mi Home Experience Store announced today in Chennai showcases Xiaomi products that are not yet launched in India.

Moreover, customers can buy the products available at the Mi Home stores, but, they cannot buy the products that are showcased at the Mi Home Experience Store. Well that’s because Xiaomi is showcasing these products at the Mi Home Experience Store to gather feedback from the customers to help them decide whether or not they should launch these products in India.

The products that Xiaomi has showcased at the Mi Home Experience Store include the Ninebot Plus, the Mi Electric Scooter, Mi Robot Vaccum, Mi Smart Shoes, Smart Rice Cooker, and more.

If you happen to live in Chennai, you can visit this Mi Home Experience Store at Phoenix Market City Mall from tomorrow to check out the products that Xiaomi hasn’t launched in India. And, if you go pay a visit to this store, then do let us know which products would you like Xiaomi to launch in India.

That said, Xiaomi plans to open Mi Home Experience Stores in Delhi and Mumbai as well, and, has plans to open a total of 100 Mi Home Stores across the country by the end of this year.
