BSNL has announced this ₹399 plan as a part of its Holi Dhamaka offer. For ₹399, BSNL postpaid customers are offered unlimited local and STD voice calls, free outgoing on roaming, and, 30 GB of data for one billing cycle. This new plan is available for both new and existing customers across all the circles of the country.

However, it’s worth noting that the data services will be offered on 3G network as the telco is yet to roll-out its 4G network across the country.

That said, BSNL’s ₹399 postpaid plan competes with Jio’s ₹309 postpaid plan that offers unlimited local and STD voice calls, free SMS, complimentary access to Jio apps, and, 30 GB (1 GB per day) of 4G data for one billing cycle.

There’s another postpaid plan from Reliance Jio priced at ₹409 which offers similar benefits, except that the data offered is 20 GB and it can be used entirely in a day by the customers.

Having said that, BSNL recently announced a tariff plan for its prepaid customers as well that’s priced at ₹448. For ₹448, BSNL prepaid customers get benefits like unlimited local and STD voice calls, free roaming, access to PRBT (Personalized Ring Back Tone), 100 free SMS per day, and, 1 GB of data per day for 84 days which translates to a total of 84 GB of data.

Are you a BSNL postpaid customer? Which postpaid plan are you currently subscribed to?
