Trying to keep the users updates with the latest version of Android, Lava Mobiles has upgraded their new Lava Iris 501 devices to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The company has also informed the existing users of this 5 inch tablet, that they could update their existing Android ICS phones to Android Jelly Bean OS. Though it’s not yet known how the update is to be obtained, we believe that users will have to visit a Lava service centre to get the update.
With this move, the Rs. 7999 phone would get the latest software update of Android.
