Bringing the One Touch Idol series to India, Alcatel launched two new smartphones in India. The Alcatel One Touch Idol and the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra, are the company’s latest Android offering for India.
Both, the Alcatel One Touch Idol and the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra are Android Jelly Bean smartphones with a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor clocked at 1 GHz and 1.2 GHz respectively. The One Touch Idol has a 4.5 inch display with 512 MB of RAM whereas the One Touch Idol Ultra has a 4.7 inch 720p display with 1 GB of RAM.
Both, the One Touch Idol and the One Touch Idol Ultra have an 8 MP rear camera with a 2 MP and 1.3 MP front facing camera respectively. The devices have an 1800 mAh battery. The Alcatel One Touch Idol is priced at Rs. 15800 while the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra is priced at Rs. 21000.
