With the increasing demand for internet connectivity on the move, Huawei in partnership with Tata Docomo has announced Wi-Fi on the move in Bangalore.
Huawei in partnership with Tata Docomo would offer the passengers of EasyCabs in Bangalore free Wi-Fi on Huawei’s E355/ E8131Wi-Fi data card using Tata Docomo Photon 3G. This service is currently available in 100 Easy Cabs and would be valid for a period of 90 days.
Huawei has installed its E355/ E8131 Wi-Fi data card in 100 EasyCabs in Bangalore, which with the Tata Docomo Photon 3G, are used to create Wi-Fi hotspots in the cabs which can be used for high download speeds on the go.
Speaking about the, Huawei Device India President, Mr Victor Shan said “Internet access is becoming mainstream as people are spending more time on their mobile devices and exploring new possibilities. At Huawei, we aim to foster connectivity and help consumer access information in the most convenient way. Taking a step in this direction, we are happy to announce Free Wi-Fi connectivity on the go in Easy Cabs, powered by Tata Docomo Photon 3G and enabled by Huawei E355/ E8131 Wi-Fi data card.”
