Amazon is one company that has been constantly showing interest in the smartphone market. While there have been various rumours about the devices from the company, new reports suggest that the company is working with HTC to manufacture its smartphones.

According to sources, HTC and Amazon have partnered to develop a new range of smartphones which is supposed to consist of Kindle phones. Further reports also claims that HTC and Amazon are currently working on three smartphones, one of which is already in the advanced production stage and may be launched soon. However none of the devices are expected to be launched this year.

While neither HTC nor Amazon commented on the partnership, HTC doesn’t seem to be very happy with the results of the HTC First which was launched in collaboration with Facebook. However HTC still claims to be very open to co-branding and collaborating with carriers and other technology brands.
