While we just heard reports that the Nokia Moneypenny and Goldfinger would be the first smartphones to feature the Windows Phone Blue updates, we have received some more updates about the devices.

According to sources, the Nokia Goldfinger would be the company’s next flagship device whereas the Nokia Moneypenny would be announced alongside. Interestingly, both the devices would sport a new feature called the 3D Touch which would offer the smartphones gesture based controls. The feature uses hardware sensors to detect gestures on the front and sides of the device.

The 3D touch feature would enable the Nokia smartphones to detect gestures like scrolling and flipping and would allow the user to work on the smartphone without requiring to physically touch the handset. A slight variation of this feature is already available in the Nokia Glance app. More so, this feature intends to provide the same functionality that the Air Gestures provide on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
