With Samsung shifting its focus towards the emerging smartphones markets, a similar handset from the company has been spotted.

An unknown Samsung handset bearing model number SM-G310 visited the FCC. While there are no technical specs available, it does seem to be an entry level smartphone running the latest Android version. Also confirmed is a 4 inch display which could have an 800 x 480 pixels resolution. This could be one of the smallest Samsung handsets in recent months.

Apparently the Samsung SM-G310 will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants, thus clearly hinting that it would be targeted mainly towards the emerging markets like India. Sources also suggest that the smartphone would run the Android v4.4.2 version. While we are expecting entry level specs for the phone we can expect a very reasonable pricing to help drive sales amongst first time smartphone users.
