While we just saw the recently announced Xiaomi Redmi Note, which was considered to be a decent offering in the 5 inch plus segment, Huawei has stepped up the game by offering an even more affordable device.
The Huawei Honor 3X has a 5.5 inch display with good resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Mostly, all the specs are closely similar, if not the same, as the Redmi Note.
The Huawei Honor 3X has a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone runs on the Android v4.2.2 with a 3000 mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the Redmi Note. To keep the competition brisk, the Huawei Honor 3X is priced at 998 Yuan, which is just 1 Yuan less than the Redmi Note.
