With location based mapping services getting more attention in India, MapmyIndia, which had launched its social navigation app called Explore, has released it to the iOS platform.
MapmyIndia announced the launch of the Explore app for iOS and is now available on the Apple App Store. The app was initially launched for Windows Phone followed by Android. The app also received a major update for its UI with a faster and more convenient interface. The app can even be customized by the user to suit his choice. The data for the maps is obtained from MapmyIndia, which claims to have the most comprehensive and accurate maps in India.
The MapmyIndia Explore app allows users to explore places around their current location and gives recommendations for restaurants, night out hot spots, shops, hotels, tourist spots based on the social recommendation of other users. You can also give your own social recommendations to places which will be then shared on Facebook.
