Months after first announcing the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+, the company has finally launched the handset in India in association with e-commerce giant, Flipkart.
Alcatel One Touch has partnered with Flipkart to launch the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ and the wearable accessory called Boom Band, both of which were announced late last year. The device sports a 5 inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is the first from the company to feature the recently released octa core MediaTek processor clocked at 2 GHz supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ has a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and aperture of f/2.0. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The phone has dual SIM support with dual standby and 3G connectivity. The company also launched the Bluetooth wristband called the Boom Band which acts as a proximity alarm and activity tracker.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ is priced at Rs. 16999 and is available in Blueish Black and White colours. The handset comes bundled with a Boom Band and JBL headphones. Like Motorola’s smartphones, this device will be available exclusively through Flipkart.
