Karbonn launches Karbonn Smart range of affordable Android smartphones

With the increasing demand for affordable smartphone in the Indian market, Karbonn has partnered with Flipkart to launch a new series called the Karbonn Smart range.

Karbonn has partnered with Flipkart to announce the launch of its new range of affordable smartphones – the Karbonn Smart range, which includes four smartphones – the Karbonn Smart A50S, the Karbonn Smart A52+, the Karbonn Smart A12 and the Karbonn Smart A11. All the four device are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor.

The Karbonn Smart A50S and the Karbonn Smart A52+ have a small 3.5 inch display with low resolution of 480 x 320 pixels along with 2 MP rear facing camera and Android Jelly Bean. The Karbonn Smart A12 and the Karbonn Smart A11 on the other hand have a 4 inch and 4.3 inch display respectively with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels along with a 5 MP rear facing camera and Android KitKat.

The Karbonn Smart range of smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The Karbonn Smart A50S is priced at Rs. 2699, the Karbonn Smart A52+ at Rs. 3099, the Karbonn Smart A12 at Rs. 4099 and the Karbonn Smart A11 at Rs. 4499.

Speaking about the Karbonn Smart range of smartphones, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, SVP – Retail, Flipkart, said, “It is our continuous endeavour to make technology available easily and at affordable prices to the greater masses of India. In this digital age, we believe every Indian should have access to a smartphone. These Karbonn phones that have been made exclusively for Flipkart customers are a step in that direction.”
