Gionee has started rolling out the Android v4.4 KitKat update for the Gionee Elife S5.5, which is popularly known as the world’s slimmest smartphone. The update, which is rolling over-the-air (OTA), weighs in at 865 MB and is being rolled out in a phased manner. The customers owning this handset in India are expected to receive the update later this month.
