With the e-Commerce market booming in India, popular online retailer Myntra has partnered with Opera to offer its services on Speed Dial to the users.
Myntra has announced its partnership with Opera Software’s to add the online retailer on the Speed Dial start screen of the Opera Mini browser. With the partnership, Myntra hopes to reach out to more users, thus increasing its sales. Further, thanks to Opera’s advanced compression technology that shrinks webpage thus loading them faster, users on slow internet connections can also avail Myntra’s services.
Speaking about the partnership, Prasad Kompalli, Chief Revenue Officer, Myntra, said, “Everyone loves surfing and shopping on their mobile phones these days. At present, almost 35% of our revenue comes from mobile web browsing, which I believe will soon be the next big driver for e-commerce in India. In fact, mobile internet has made it possible for us to connect with new consumers in smaller cities and towns, where phones are the primary means to access the web.”
