Finally putting an end to the numerous leaks surfacing over the past few days, Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which is the company’s new addition to the wide range of Galaxy devices. Just as seen in recent rumours, the handset has a refreshing metal frame on the side rim with smooth finish on the back cover. The device has a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone comes with fingerprint scanner and built-in heart rate monitor.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is powered by the octa core Exynos processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. There is a rear facing 12 MP camera with LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities. There is also a front facing 2.1 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with an 1860 mAh battery. The handset is expected to be launched in over 150 countries starting from September.
