After several speculations and leaks, Samsung has finally announced its much awaited flagship phablet – the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at the UnPacked event held at the IFA 2014 in Berlin. The device, though flaunts the same design language seem in the Note series, has a new smooth metallic finish giving an added premium feel to the exotic device. There is also an aluminium frame running around the sides of the device. The S Pen stylus holder is right at the bottom right corner.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with ultra-high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which results in a pixel density of 515 ppi. The screen has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available in two variants based on the processor. The international version is powered by the superfast quad core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. Meanwhile the Exynos variant is powered by a 1.9 GHz octa core processor. The handset are equipped with a copious 4 GB of RAM and are available with memory options of 16, 32, 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 MP rear facing Sony IMX240 camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization and dual-LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 4K Ultra HD videos at 30 fps. There is also a front facing 3.7 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a layer of the latest TouchWiz UI.
