Just a week after Asus announced the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite in Philippines, the company has now released the handset in India.
The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite, which is the affordable version of the Zenfone 5, is now available in India on Flipkart. The device has a 5 inch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection and resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a low end dual core Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite has an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a decent 2500 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 8999, which is shockingly close to the Zenfone 5 price.
