The absense of copy/paste functionality in a windows device has baffled many, but not Microsoft. They are taking it slowly and steadily. It’s well known that Windows Phone 7 devices lack copy/paste functionality. Microsoft announced that prior to Mango, there will be another update ‘NoDo’. (NoDo stands for ‘No Donuts’, if that’s a bouncer at Android then its definitely a sucker punch of a name.) Now what NoDo is supposed to bring is the copy/paste functionality along with a few more fixes listed in Microsoft site.

Unfortunately the update is delayed. While HTC Arrive will get the update even while its purchased from the store, other devices like the HTC HD7, Surround will receive the update delayed by 10 days or more.
