Motorola, Samsung, HTC and other Android bigwigs have already started updating its devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop but Lenovo was mum on its plans. Well, not anymore. Lenovo has revealed the list of devices that will get the major Android release as an update.
Unfortunately, the list isn’t very long and Lenovo has confirmed 7 devices will get the latest update. The company might end up updating more devices later on but that’s just wishful thinking really. The Lenovo devices which will taste Lollipop are Vibe Z2, Vibe Z2 Pro, Vibe X2, A6000, A5000, P70 and S90.
The update has been listed to be coming sometime in the second quarter of the year, so it’s not coming anytime soon. Lenovo hasn’t revealed more on the update and whether it will bring some of its own updates alongside but that’s expected. Anyways, people who own the aforementioned devices will surely get Android 5.0 Lollipop but they’ll have to be little patient.
