Pierre Cardin has launched an Android tablet called the PC-7006 which is being called a ‘Designer Tablet’. The tablet comes in leather case which gives it a classy look. However, the features of the device are not so exciting.
The tablet has a 7-inch capacitive touch-screen, Samsung’s 1-GHz Cortex A8 with 512 MB of RAM, runs Android 2.2 Froyo, 4GB internal memory with microSD card expansion upto 16GB, a front 1.3MP camera, USB and HDMI. The tablet comes in a Wi-Fi-only version but an optional 3G dongle is also available.
The tablet costs about $450 which seems pretty decent.
