While we have been hearing a lot about the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, another Lumia smartphone has now surfaced.
The Microsoft Lumia 550 press renders were leaked days before the official launch. The handset, which is the company’s budget offering, is one of the major hopes for increasing Lumia sales in the next quarters. The renders reveal a design quite similar to other Lumia smartphones. We can expect the device to be launched alongside the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL next week.
While there is no word on the hardware, rumours suggest that the Lumia 550 would sport a 4.7 inch AMOLED display with resolution of 1080 x 720 pixels. Surprisingly, the device is said to be powered by the low-end Snapdragon 210 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. Also expected is 5 MP rear facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera with flash.
