Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE with 4G LTE support launched in India for Rs. 17399

While Microsoft had quickly launched the Lumia 640 XL in India, it launched only the 3G variant. Now the company has launched the 4G variant in keeping with the demand for 4G smartphones in the country.

Microsoft has announced the launch of the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE, which is the 4G LTE variant of the Lumia 640 XL. The device has a 5.7 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Windows 8.1 version which is upgradable to the latest Windows 10 version with a 3000 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 17399 and is available in orange, cyan, black, and white colour options.

Speaking about the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE, T S Sridhar, Microsoft Mobile Devices, Director (sales), South, said, “We understand the needs of the Indian consumers and with the Lumia range we have always focused on complementing the needs of the customers across segments by delivering new experiences and features. Lumia 640XL LTE is power-packed offering great productivity at power of 4G.”
