With the rains in Chennai causing havoc to life and property, Idea has now announced relief to 19.5 lakh customers in the affected regions.
Idea Cellular has announced major relief offers for its customers in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. The operator is offering a talk time credit of Rs. 12 to all its customers. The company has already started crediting 10 Local mobile minutes and 50 MB of 2G data in the prepaid accounts of its customers.
Idea has also revealed that the relief would be provided to all 19.5 lakh customers in the five affected Districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Cuddalore, Thiruvallur and Pondicherry. For postpaid customers whose bills are due, Idea is extending the payment dates and will ensure that services continue. The operator is working to ensure customers can continue to use the network, despite difficult conditions.
