LG launches the Optimus True HD LTE in Europe and Asia

LG Electronics has today officially launched its latest LTE smartphone, the Optimus True HD LTE in new markets across Europe and Asia including Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The smartphone was launched first in countries with LTE networks including Korea, Japan, Canada and the US and today the smartphone availability expands. The 720p display on the smartphone uses a full RGB matrix and which is totally different than what we see on AMOLED 720p screens which use a PenTile matrix.


Specifications include a 4.5-inch LCD screen with a 720p IPS display, 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android 2.3 Ginger bread, but it will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
