With the affordable Redmi line-up fast selling in the market, Xiaomi has now launched the improved Xiaomi Redmi 3s.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s, which is the improved variant of the Redmi 3 with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 430 processor and is available in two variants – one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage and the other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 4000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 7000) for the 2 GB variant and 899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 9000) for the 3 GB variant.
