Samsung files in a new patent for folder and icon stacking

Samsung has filed for a cool looking patent which describes a new method of organizing icons on mobile devices in which icons and folders can be stacked on to each other.

The folder and icon stacking is done in a parallelogram shape rather than a circle or a square shape. The stack can be swiped down to show all the icons/folders in a very innovative pattern.

The stacking is done in the traditional drag and drop fashion and a new folder is created in the form of a stack. Now you can tap and drag down the stack to show all the icons and you can even scroll through the new stack.

Seems pretty good looking and well of course it should keep Samsung off some patent infringing for a change.
