Nokia Lumia 620, 3.8-inch budget Windows Phone 8 smartphone announced

At the ongoing Le Web Conference in Paris, Finnish giant Nokia has announced a launch of the Nokia Lumia 620 smartphones.

The Nokia Lumia 620 smartphone runs on Windows Phone 8 OS and has been launched by Nokia in the lower-price range segment alongside the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 and mid-range Nokia Lumia 820.

The Nokia Lumia 620 arrives with a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen with a WVGA display, is powered by a powerful Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB RAM.

The Lumia 620 arrives with a 5 MP camera with LED Flash on the rear and the VGA front facing shooter.

The Nokia Lumia 620 packs in:

  • 3.8-inch TFT LCD ClearBlack Display
  • Display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels
  • 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 prcoessor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 8 GB internal memory
  • Expandable to 64 GB
  • Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, NFC
  • 1300 mAh battery

The Nokia Lumia 620 will carry all the apps which are exclusive to Nokia’s Lumia range of smartphones which include Nokia City Lens, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music and more. With seven different exchangeable shells to choose from, people can adapt the look of their Nokia Lumia 620 to their own personal taste and style.

The Lumia 620 will be available in a colourful range (may vary from region to region) which include Lime Green, Orange, Magenta, Yellow, Cyan, White and Black. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone has been priced at $249 and is expected to start selling in January 2013 in Asia which will be followed by Europe and Middle East.
