While Xiaomi recently launched the improved Mi 5s variant of its flagship, the company may now be working on the affordable variant – the Mi 5c.
According to sources, Xiaomi is currently working on the affordable variant of the Mi 5, which may be released as the Mi 5c. while Xiaomi is yet to provide any details about the handset, sources in the know suggest that the device may be launched on December 12 in China. Further, the handset is said to be priced below the Rs. 15000 mark.
Rumors about the Mi 5c indicate that the handset would sport a 5.1 inch full HD display and would be powered by an octa core processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Also expected is a 16 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. If the reports are true, we should hear the announcement in less than a month.
