After launching the Xiaomi Redmi 4 in India, the smartphone is now available to buy exclusively on Amazon India at ₹6,999. The base variant of the Redmi 4 will go on sale on 23rd May at 12 PM without any pre-registrations.
Currently, out of three, only two variants will be on sale, the ₹6,999 variant with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, and the ₹8,999 variant with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The final model which is 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage will be available towards the end of the June. The price of this variant is ₹10,999.
There is an offer who buys the Redmi 4 from Amazon, consumers can avail an offer of 45 GB free mobile data for 5 months on buying a 1 GB+ 4G data pack from Vodafone. In addition, you can get ₹500 cash back when purchased with YES Bank debit card or credit card. More offers are lined up, customers can also get up to ₹5,000 off on flights and hotel bookings via Goibibo.com as well as ₹200 promotion credit on Kindle books when you download the Kindle app and sign in to it.
Spec-wise, the Redmi 4 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with a 2-day battery life (4100 mAh). There’s an octa-core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. On the software front, it is backed up with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI on top.
