New reports from Sammobile are claiming that the Galaxy Note 8 might continue the tradition of an IFA launch. The report contradicts previous rumors, which presumed the Galaxy Note 8 to break cover before IFA 2017. Samsung is being extra cautious this time, Sammobile was told. The company would definitely not want a repeat of previous unfortunate incidents that took place with the Note 7. The Korean OEM would be keen to take all steps possible to avoid a repeat.

Furthermore, launching the Galaxy Note 8 at IFA would continue the long custom of Samsung unveiling the Galaxy Note lineup at the tech event in Berlin. Also, the alternative product, the Gear S4 is not ready for prime time because of incomplete Tizen 3.0 software. Do take note that this is all unofficial talk and we have had no hints from Samsung regarding the subject.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to feature the rumored Snapdragon 836 chip or the Exynos 8895 chip. It will accommodate the fabulous Infinity Display of 6.3-inches and sport dual rear cameras with 3x optical zoom. Samsung might opt for a 6 gig along with an 8 gig variant too. Some AKG stereo speakers have also just crept up in the rumor mill owing to leaked sketches of the upcoming device. The fingerprint scanner is now expected to be beneath the dual cameras instead of being under the screen.
