According to sources the world’s cheapest tablet, the Aakash Ubislate 7, which was recently announced in India will be heading to the UK next year. The tablet will be sold as the Ubislate 7 with an unconfirmed price tag of £40-£50.Co-developed by UK based company, DataWind, the Ubislate has a 7 inch TFT resistive touch screen, two USB ports, an SD card slot, Android 2.2, Wi-Fi, web browsing and video conferencing. The company plans to launch the tablet on the 3rd of February in UK.
As of yet we still have no confirmation as to when the tablet will reach the Indian market, but we’ll keep an eye out for it.
