Acer unveils beTouch E400

acer-e400-s  Acer has unveiled Acer beTouch E400. It runs on Android 2.1 and has a Qualcomm 7227 processor which runs at 600 MHz. It supports 3G and WIFI connectivity which will enable you to browse the web, update your social networks and have fun online whenever you feel like it.

beTouch E400 is 12 mm slim. It feaures a large 3.2” high-definition (HVGA) resistive touch screen and a 3.2-megapixel digital camera with built-in flash, geo-tagging, digital zoom, scene mode, white balance, color effect and macro mode.

It will be available in selected markets from April 2010. Price details are not yet disclosed.

It has Native Microsoft Exchange Server support, allowing you to access to your corporate e-mail everywhere you go. And with the pre-installed Documents To Go you can edit and create Microsoft®Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as well as view Adobe PDF files wherever you are.

beTouch E400 features the smart Acer Lighting Behavior with smart LED lighting that flashes in different colors to let you know when a new message has arrived, if you missed a call or whether the battery is low.

Cloud synchronization with Google:
The beTouch E400 comes preinstalled with Acer Sync, a smart application that allows automatic cloud-based and Wi-Fi synchronization with your netbook, notebook or desktop so that your contacts, calendars and files are always up to date. When you’re on the move, Acer Sync allows you to sync your Google contacts, calendar and to do list over the air.
