Last week, the ASUS built Google Nexus 7 tablet went on to receive the Android 4.1.2 and today the update is rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus S smartphones.

Android-4.1.2-Roll-out

The update weighs around 15 MB and will go on to improve the performance and stability along with loads of bug fixes.

As per the information that we have, the update is now rolling out in different parts of the world to the unlocked international version of the smartphone and if you still haven’t got the notification, you might just have to wait for a few more hours.

For the Nexus 7, the update brought in various bug fixes and improvements but the most important feature was to use the 7 inch tablet in the landscape mode. These phones already have the landscape mode so it is just the improvements and bug fixes that Google has packed in.

We are also hearing that the Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola Xoom tablets is also receiving the Android 4.1.2 update. If you own any of these devices, have you got the update yet?

Thanks Shahbaaz for the screenshots!
