Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleKRAFTON India has released the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) 4.5 Update, celebrating the game’s 5th anniversary with one of its biggest crossover seasons yet. The update brings together collaborations with Naruto, Ferrari, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, alongside new World of Wonder (WOW) experiences, India-themed Card Collections, social features, and upcoming creator collaborations.
BGMI has now surpassed 260 million players in India, and the 4.5 update expands the game beyond its core battle royale experience with new themed gameplay mechanics, user-generated content, progression systems, and social features.
Naruto: Ninjas Assemble
The Naruto collaboration is one of the biggest additions to the BGMI 4.5 update, transforming parts of Erangel and Livik with locations inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village. Players can explore recreations of Hokage Rock, Ichiraku Ramen, the Ninja Academy, and other locations from the anime.
The crossover also introduces Naruto-inspired gameplay abilities, including Rasengan, Chidori, Flying Raijin Jutsu, Ninja Run, and voice-activated ninjutsu.
A new Kurama Defense event temporarily disables PvP combat and brings players together in a server-wide cooperative battle to defend the Hidden Leaf Village against the Nine-Tails.
Naruto-themed cosmetics will also be available through the Naruto Gold Spin, including Sage Mode and Six Paths Mode sets. The collaboration includes login rewards, Flash Crew items, custom lobby music, and other themed content.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Collaboration
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration will go live on July 30, introducing superhero-inspired traversal and combat mechanics to BGMI.
Players will gain access to abilities including Web Swing, Web Attack, Spider Climb, and Spider-Sense. Erangel will also receive new themed locations, including Skyline Plaza, Peter Parker’s apartment, and Aunt May’s grave.
Skyline Plaza introduces a more vertical combat environment, allowing players to move between rooftops and structures using the new traversal mechanics.
Ferrari Makes Its BGMI Debut
Ferrari has also arrived in BGMI as part of the 4.5 update, bringing four vehicles to the game:
- Ferrari Roma
- Ferrari Purosangue
- Ferrari LaFerrari
- Ferrari SF90 XX Spider
Each vehicle will be available in multiple colour options. The collaboration with Ferrari and Scuderia Ferrari HP also introduces Formula 1 car display stands across the map, where players can view the car and capture in-game photographs.
New World of Wonder Experiences
BGMI’s World of Wonder ecosystem, which currently includes more than 50,000 map creators, is expanding with new player-created experiences.
New modes include Steal a Brain Rot and Shoot a Brain Rot, developed in collaboration with creator DoBiG. These modes combine action gameplay with tycoon-style progression, allowing players to collect, upgrade, and battle custom characters.
The update also adds Naruto-themed WOW maps, including the Valley of the End and Konoha Village.
India-Themed Card Collections
The Card Collection System has received several improvements, making cards easier to collect, exchange, and complete.
Players can now redeem cards directly using theme tokens, while improved mutual-assistance features make sharing easier. The latest collection introduces India-themed and Naruto-themed cards, along with a new Flash Card featuring the Karambit – Blazing Sun.
X-Suit Progression Changes
The BGMI 4.5 update introduces three new X-Suits with an updated progression system. Players can select a core X-Suit form and upgrade it through gameplay.
For the first time, dedicated X-Suit missions will allow players to earn upgrade materials through gameplay rather than relying entirely on premium purchases.
New Social Features
KRAFTON has introduced several new features focused on squad coordination and social interactions. Team-Up Reservation lets players schedule matches up to seven days in advance and automatically reminds teammates before the scheduled session.
Private Squad Settings provide additional control over visibility and team-up availability, while the new Flash Crew season introduces Naruto-themed rewards and localized social spaces.
CarryMinati Collaboration Coming in August
KRAFTON India has also confirmed an upcoming collaboration with CarryMinati. Dedicated in-game experiences and a major reveal are planned around India’s Independence Day celebrations, with the collaboration scheduled for August 15.
