Bharti airtel launches ‘airtel broadband TV’

Bharti_Airtel_300Bharti airtel today announced the launch of ‘airtel broadband TV, through which users can watch television on their computers through the broadband internet connection. The customers will now have the ability to watch television anytime, without the requirement of a television or a cable or set-top box connection.

Currently airtel will be offering 28 Live TV channels are across genres, languages and include the likes of UTV Bindass, UTV Movies, Bloomberg UTV , TLC, Animal Planet, all Discovery channels, Sakshi TV, Live India, NE TV, Otv News, Suvarna News and Tarang Music. While on the computer or laptop, users can watch television as well as work on the computer, kind of like multitasking. The service can also work on Wi-Fi so that users can watch the broadband television anywhere in their home.

Mr. Girish Mehta, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bharti Airtel had this to say, We are delighted to announce the launch of airtel broadband TV for our valued customers. Revolutionizing the TV watching experience, this initiative is part of our larger commitment to offer an enhanced broadband experience to our customers. We will soon be adding more content under news, soap and infotainment categories.”

  • Gold Pack– All channels with Voice on Demand and movies for Rs 99, per month
  • Night Pack- All channels with Voice on Demand and movies for Rs 49, per month from 9PM – 9AM
  • My Pack- Any 3 chosen channels for Rs 49 per month
