Joining the on-going data wars in the Indian telecom sector, state-run BSNL is now offering unlimited 3G data for all its customers.

BSNL has announced the launch of the STV 498 plan which offers unlimited 3G data. The plan, which is available to all BSNL prepaid users across India, has 14 days validity. Interestingly, BSNL has not put a data cap limit on the plan and as such would truly offer unlimited high-speed 3G data to the users.

The new STV 498 plan is said to be a promotional plan released for the holiday season and would be available till January 7, 2017. The plan would be available for both the existing and new users. Having no data cap limit, this would be one of the few truly unlimited 3G data plans released in the country.
