Soon after the Gionee Marathon M3 went on sale online, the company has now officially announced the handset.
Gionee has announced the launch of the Gionee Marathon M3, which is the company’s latest smartphone sporting a long lasting battery. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Gionee Marathon M3 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with a LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a massive 5000 mAh battery, which is said to last up to 32.8 days on standby with 51 hours talk time on 2G and 32.46 hours talk time on 3G. The handset is priced at Rs. 12999.
