With the increasing demand for budget smartphone in India, Gionee has announced a new mid-range smartphone – the Gionee Pioneer P3.
The Gionee Pioneer P3 has a 4.3 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with a mere 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which can be further extended up to 32 GB with microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone comes with dual Standby mode along with features like Face Unlocking and Guest Mode for enhanced security.
The Gionee Pioneer P3 has a 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS with 1700 mAh battery which is said to last for 10 days on standby besides a talk time of 8 hours. The smartphone is available in Black and White colours and is priced at Rs. 7499.
