While we are eagerly waiting to hear about the upcoming Gionee S9, the company seems to be gearing up to launch the smartphone next week.
According to sources, Gionee has announced that the much awaited S9 will be unveiled on November 15 at its event in China. As rumoured earlier, the handset would sport the dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. While the handset is expected to flaunt high-end specs, it is expected to be priced in the mid-range budget range.
Rumours suggest that the Gionee S9 would have a 5.5 inch full HD display and would be powered by the octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Also expected is the 13 MP and 5 MP rear facing camera combo and a front facing 13 MP camera. We should be hearing more details soon.
