While flip phones are not quite mainstream in the smartphone market, Samsung and Gionee do continue to keep the trend alive. Now Gionee has launched the Gionee W909.
Gionee has announced the launch of the Gionee W909, which is the company’s latest Android flip phone with dual display and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has two 4.2 inch IPS displays – one in the front and the other inside, both with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Gionee W909 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2530 mAh battery. The handset is priced at 3999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 40000) and is available in Rose Gold colour with a leather-like finish.
