While not many people were happy with the Google Calendar due to its UI, the app has received a major update with lots of additional featuring including colour-specific marking.
The new Google Calendar app now lets you change the default colour of the calendar according to your wish. Not just the background, but even the events can be represented with a pre-selected colour. You can separate your events into various categories, like personal appointments, business appointments or other appointments, using a colour scheme.
The event can now be set to recurring when selecting the time and date of an event. This update also brings a searchable time zone feature. The new update for the Calendar app definitely will attract more users. You can try the Google Calendar app by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
